[theqoo] Another problematic scene in SNL with actress Moon Chaewon

I don't have any intention of criticizing the actress, but I just hope programs like this never take root in Korea... The more I watched, the more upset I felt. Do people really want to watch something this low?

    original post: here

    1. ? Is this real? Crazy, this aired on broadcast? That actress really filmed something like this?

    2. I think that it's slowly getting worse and worse. It wasn't like that before. Moon Chaewon's acting in Flower of Evil was good and the reactions were good too. But seeing how the industry stopped casting her seems like it's partly because of her own will too

    3. Does she want to have a p*rv* image? She should be going on vacation or something insteadㅠ

    4. ......Wow I'm so shocked

    5. I've always thought that SNL was low but this is even worse than I thought

    6. Does the American SNL do things like that too?

    7. Moon Chaewon... why would she go on a show like that...

    8. What happened last week with Kim Sarang was also freaking shocking

    9. What is this program doing... ew

    10. I bet that the man was embarrassed by that too... why would they go that far?

  • People take everything so seriously these days. I've seen much worse, even in Korea.😂

Knetz is so fast judging female Idols and celebs in general, but don't do the same with men.

Also, we shouldn't give more platform to Panch*a, it's one of, if not the most disgusting platform.

  • "I don't have any intention of criticizing the actress, but I just hope programs like this never take root in Korea... "

Who's going to tell them this is a Korean show?

"6. Does the American SNL do things like that too?"

It's been a long time since I watched SNL regularly, but except for the occasional odd skit, it's historically been pretty tame compared to some of the things I've seen them pull on the Korean version, ironically enough.

I don't watch any SNL, but I know that the US version is almost 100% about politics, and that's why it's boring as hell. They can't do that in SK, because imagine actors making fun of politicians. Death penalty next day. So, they're doing the Japanese route instead, the soft corn and lame jokes.

It's not "100% about politcs" just because there's political humor, or even political bias. They make skits about everything. And I think you're confusing South Korea with North Korea.

I'm not confusing them, but did you ever see South Koreans making fun of politicians?

Yes everyday 🤣. Also I don't understand why people are upset over this video. Look both actor and actress agreed to the skits and knew what they signed up to do on the show they had the scripts etc and could have declined the offer BUT decided to do it anyway, they came to earn their paychecks so why are people upset?

I follow K-entertainment since 2003, but I don't think I've seen anyone making fun of Korean politicians. Tbf, I'm not interested in SNL, the only episode I watched was with Mamamoo. Now, that was hilarious, but they're always funny.😂

This scene craved into my brain forever.🤣
