  • Too late to save them. Jeon Soyeon has the power in Cube and she has been trying to get LS disbanded for years

Instead of being in charge of a group at PNation, she should've become the creative director at Cube. It would've done her some stead later on in her career in her 30s and 40s.

  • Lightsum Fighting! I will watch later

This move seems to odd to me. Why wouldn't Cube pay Soyeon whatever she wants to direct a GG for them? I'm also suprised they weren't able to get Soyeon to produce a track for Lightsum. I think it would've helped them but at least it would've been something for Lightsum. I assume it's part of her contract to work with groups outside of Cube.

Interested to see what Soyeon cooks up because she's versatile and made great songs for others. I know Qwer was already doing well but the song she produced for them made them an even bigger deal

I'm surprised, too. The woman has bags of talent. If Soyeon were in charge of everything with all thr groups at Cube, she could raise her profile and be seen as a sort of mini MHJ, with with musical talent. Cube's share price would've doubled, if not trebled, if she were in charge of their groups.

It must be something that Cube is difficult to work with. Logically, it would make sense to give Soyeon what she wants and allow her to produce for whoever she wants in the company. Also, Cube must've generated enough money to get quality trainees to form a group.

Say what you want about Cube but each of their groups produced quality talent. I think they're one of the better companies in identifying talents. Even though things didn't work out for their groups you can't deny the talent that's in CLC and Lightsum. It's just both of those groups suffered from one of the important element which is luck. On paper, the two groups had the ingredients to be successful because they have quality vocalist, top tier dancer, and visuals.

It's why Soyeon working for P-Nation puzzles me because Cube can identify talent. So, having Soyeon nurture talent seems like it would be best for both parties, but something feels very off that it's not happening at Cube.
