That seems unlikely, at least in Malto's case. Take a look at their Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/malto_vietnam/. They only have five posts, 2K followers, and started in March this year. This doesn't seem like a brand with a big budget.

but that's malto vietnam no? (or are they originally from vietnam I'm not sure lol) is there a malto SK?
maybe they are trying to break into the SK market and need someone like WY so they are paying her a lot (again mere speculation from my part)

I just did some searching online, and Malto does appear to be a Vietnam-only line of teen-focused, milk-based beverages--so again, a rather small, very "niche" sort or brand for someone of Wonyoung's stature to be representing.

in that case I got nothing lol
but I do like to think that at this stage in her career with like at least 7 years of idol experience under her belt and her being WY that WY would have rights to decide who she wants to rep (even though I know legally it's still Starship that has the legal rights)
