Companies wants to make localized groups in the west including south america. Seeing the news of VCHA KG court case, doesn't this show more of whats to come? Should companies adapt with the western ways of operating to avoid any problems?
Will Kpop and korean values comes into conflict with the western world through localized groups?

Perhaps the companies should pursue the approach that SM and Hybe have apparently taken?
Display MoreI think where JYP messed up in comparison with SM (DearAlice) and Hybe (Katseye)
is that SM and Hybe both focused on training the members of the group, but the promotion and the rest is handed by a western company, who know how western artist and mentality and doesn't work like korean companies
and then they just chim in sometimes by giving them a hand in promoting them sometimes with music show performance in korea.
but JYP messed up is that it seems that the project was announce as a join project from JYP and Universal
but it looks like only JYP is promoting them, and even in the US it seems that it's the US branch of JYP who work with them and the company seems to be full of koreans that work with them in korea too
and these people are just stupid to think that western artist will be okay with the mentality of koreans
