have you played any of the Soulcalibur games?

I've played them all.

It's too bad Bandai Namco will not likely create the seventh iteration since the previous game did not sell well.

I'm hoping I'm wrong and they will somehow go ahead down the line, but they've abandoned that project for years now.

I played Soulcalibur II and IV a lot back in the day—loved the weapon-based combat. I kind of miss those arcade-style fighters now that I’m way too deep into tactical shooters. Been messing with escape from tarkov cheats lately just to figure out how some of them work. Wild how different the mechanics are compared to fighters like Soulcalibur, but still fun in their own way.

Soulcalibur IV really nailed the balance between custom fighters and the main cast. And yeah… you’re not wrong about V - cool ideas, but it definitely didn’t land the same way for a lot of fans.
