What does "headlining" mean?

Does it mean you're one of the names on the promotion poster or that you're the number 1 artist on a festival that is all the way at the top of the list?

It means you go on last and have the longest set. You're the main event... or one of them, anyway. There will be another artist performing at the same time, because there's two main stages.

"Headliners" are called that because they receive top billing, typically by appearing at the top -- or the headline -- of the lineup on things like posters & other advertisements, often in the largest font, although Lollapalooza didn't organize their posters that way.

As someone explained above, the festival is large, so they have 2 headliners each day, the 2 mains stages are at the opposite side of the grounds.

rufus du sol will be on the other main stage at the same time as Twice.

So a headliner is not the number 1 group of the entire festival, but one of the more important ones that end the thing at a certain stage
