What the heck is going at SME? Are they even shipping Seulgi's new album, or they're hibernating?

    I mean, I get the sales are low on the weekend, but this just insane!

    in case someone would say it might be Hanteo's fault no it isn't

    Yeji sales are 187k, and she released album on same day as Seulgi

    and just today Hanteo counted 567k sales for Le Sserafim


    so it's either SM's fault or there actually weren't that many pre-orders

    I mean sure, but Seulgi is pretty popular, and I heard that something is wrong with the car version as well. Not sure what. To be honest, I'm not that surprised, SM can't promote soloists. Just look at Taeyeon, and she's basically the 2nd biggest female soloists in Kpop right now. She didn't sell 100K in a week. She sold 115K overall with her latest album.


    To be fair, other than BoA no other SM soloist had big album sales.

    It's obviously not Hanteo's fault, even if they make a mistake the difference is usually not big. I have never seen more than 10K difference.

    Another artist caught in the SME bubble. Amazing how SME keeps these singers on a leash for so well. I'm sure HYBE and JYPE are going to hire people to study how a company can trick their most popular artists for so long.
