I'm thinking about that trope in some Asian dramas (and also one manga, I've read) about a girl being disguised as a guy.
And then one of the guys, who thinks that she is a guy, starts having feelings for her and is like "Am I gay?".
And then I think that when that character finds out that she is a girl, he is probably relieved like "Thank goodness, I'm not gay"
One thing that I find weird about the trope is the fact that this character only feels gay for the girl in disguise.
And yes, some of those characters don't seem to know that there is a thing called being bisexual.
I think this trope is considered outdated nowadays...
Well... if a girl in real life disguised herself as a guy, I don't think that any straight man would feel attracted to her and question their sexuality.
I don't think that a guy being disguised as a woman has ever attracted me. (I remember when I thought Piko was a girl, but I didn't feel attracted to him back then)
Well... I don't know if I might prefer the trope of a girl having a crush on the girl disguised as a guy. (I think that was the case for Shakespeare's Twelfth Night)
