I recently found out that when Ryuhei of the JPop-group BE:FIRST was a trainee under Avex, they let him train with the girls of XG where it was apparently stated that they wanted to originaly make a group with male and female members. However around the time the XG member left Japan Ryuhei was about to have different plans. See he left Avex and auditioned for a survival show that had formed BE:FIRST. Since he was the only male trainee who trained with XG, they lost the only guy who could've potantionaly join them ![]()
I'm actually happy he left XG cause BE:FIRST is also quit popular on their own (most streamed boygroup of Japan on streaming services, won many awards of which some are even from outside Japan, collabed with famous artists before,...) and it would feel weird if he had joined XG instead of BE:FIRST
