Well at least now some celebrities and many people can be free with their opinions and preferences.

Whether their stands are liked or not, correct or not- it is a disgrace they have to hide fearing cancel culture. it causes a silent resentment to build and expressed in votes.

Secondly, entertainers/fans should stop overestimating their impact. Celebrity-entertainers endorsement are effective for consumer goods, but not for values and policies.

In fact it is the reverse, celebrities live in a bubble with little understanding of the challenges faced by ordinary folk and their endorsements sound condescending.
