Seokjin is not well known to be a leading member of BTS.
But his song, I'll be There, has something worth of mentioning.
Country music, believe or not, was quite popular in Korea during 1970s, and people like John Denver had some following there.
Country style of music also influenced the folk genre in Korea quite a lot.
It seems Hybe, or at least Seokjin, realized the power has shifted towards the country genre, and is now attempting to enter the country genre, since the success of Shaboozey, of Igbo(a tribe in Nigeria) background, showed that people not traditionally practicing country music could still thrive in that genre.
This song was mostly composed by an American singer named Max (Maxwell Schneider), who became friends with Yoongi, so it is very likely that Max will contribute at least one song in BTS' next album. Max is not well known in USA but is somewhat known among some Armys because of his friendship with BTS members.
I think it is a positive move, since BTS' old formula will probably not work post APT., and Hybe's reputation is now in the crapper, so it will need a vastly different direction in its next (and probably the last as a group) promotion, country is not a bad direction to take.
Taylor Swift, during her Eras tours, had stops in places like Tampa, FL/Phoenix/Pittsburgh/Denver/Cincinnati/Kansas City/Miami/Dallas/New Orleans/Indianapolis, places few KPop acts venture to, because of her strong country music background even though she doesn't sing country.
if BTS perfects its country style, it could have a new lease of life, like Twice which is completely different from the Twice of 2016/17, as a KPop-Country act in USA, although its venues will probably be smaller than that of Taylor Swift.
That might inspire BTS' archenemy to try the country genre, since BTS' archenemy also had concerts in Atlanta and Chicago(Rosemont), not the first choices for someone who had never had concerts in USA before, but since BTS' archenemy is getting older she will try to mimic BTS' approach of a career makeover.
