I just heard about this. Very sad news. Didn't know the group very well, but he was so young and had a son.

Used to be a Directioner so these news are so shocking and hard to process.

I haven't been following 1D for a decade now, I know he ended up being a pos and yeah knowing what he's done it's hard to feel bad for him, but 1D were such a huge part of my teenage years that it's impossible to be unaffected by these news.
I feel especially bad for his family and his son. It's such a tragic way to die.

Staff at the hotel had requested urgent police assistance shortly before Payne’s death Wednesday, according to an emergency call obtained by CNN’s Argentine affiliate Todo Noticias.
“We have a guest who is overwhelmed with drugs and alcohol,” the hotel manager said on the call. “He breaks things up. He is tearing the whole room apart.”
The manager told the call operator that because Payne’s Room had a balcony he was afraid something bad would happen.
I wish there was a greater support system for artists who struggle with substance issues. The intense public scrutiny all the time has to be overwhelming.

I know nothing about him, never listened to them. But judging by the comments on twitter this was expected.
What i wanted to know is how the hell celebs get drugs that easily, especially in a foreign country. I don't get it
