    Hello, this is Jessi.

First of all, I sincerely apologize for causing concern to many people due to the recent reports regarding the assault incident involving me.

Recently, while I was having a personal gathering with acquaintances, a victim, who is my fan, requested a photo from me. However, since it was late at night, I politely declined twice, and in that moment, he was suddenly ass**lted by someone I had met for the first time that day. I was so taken aback by the sudden situation that I wasn't able to consider the fan’s feelings carefully.

Regardless of the circumstances, I deeply regret that my fan suffered such an unjust incident, and I feel a moral responsibility for it. After the incident, my agency and I contacted the victim's mother to ensure that the victim can quickly seek an apology and compensation from the assailant, as well as to make sure that the assailant receives appropriate punishment.

I earnestly request that you refrain from reporting solely based on one-sided claims or speculation regarding this incident."

    1. Sigh what's up with her acquaintance beating up fans without any reasons?

    2. Sigh... There are all kinds of weirdos... I hope the fan and Jessi can resolve this

    3. So it's not even Jessis' acquaintance

    4. Even if they're meeting each other for the first time, he's still part of her circle

    5. Why are people hating on Jessi when the men are the ones fighting

    6. If you watched the CCTV, you'd realize that she ran away the moment the ass*ult happened. And you call this moral?????

    7. She was probably taken aback and wanted to resolve it before it escalates... Anyways, I hope the victim gets an apology from the perpetrator

    8. Even if they're meeting for the first time, isn't this a friend of Jessi's producer?

    9. I'm disappointed

    10. She ran away to drink though ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

  • And you're not wondering why she's associating herself with such shady people? Don't hang out with thugs and maybe they won't beat up your fans!

She said she just met him that day when they were introduced together, that does not mean she knew who he was before hand or that they are friends, and she "knew he was going to beat up her fans"

that is true...except for the fact she continued to go drinking with him and having a good time after he punched out her fan.

How do we know she's telling the truth? And even if she is, what does his character tell us about whoever introduced him to Jessi? I seriously doubt he just walked up to her group and introduced himself just prior to this all going down. I think it's pretty obvious she's part of a bad crowd. What were they doing hanging out in an alley, anyway?

  • No, I don't think that. Association is a two-way street. You don't have to be around someone just because they want to be around you (just ask the fan whose request she rejected.) She chose to hang out with this person, even if he's just an acquaintance.

We all know Jessi is no angel. But why is there an urge to put more blame on her than necessary? Whether she was into him or she interacted with him out of politeness, what does it matter in this situation of someone being attacked by the assailant? She has a right to watch out of herself too, who knows if she became scared of that man becoming violent and decided to leave or appease him later for self-preservation

she gave no fucks about her fan until the story surfaced.

I'm not putting more blame on her than necessary. Did I say she's the one who assaulted the fan? No. But when even her company is offering compensation out of moral obligation, you know they know something. If she were really just an innocent bystander to two complete strangers having a kerfuffle, that would not happen.

And you do not willingly associate yourself with or try to appease people who scare you. You get away from them. That's just common sense.

I'm sure she doesn't care that much personally. Idols or celebrities are just working for their living and they have witnessed many fans get injured for various reasons or other injustices but nay a peep from them most of the time. But this shouldn't be extended to making Jessi some kind of culprit and targeting the blame towards her rather than the actual assailant

it's not moral obligation. it's just PR to soothe any potential controversy.

unless Jessi was telling or instigating to the attacker that her fan should be assaulted, she shouldn't get any blame.

as I said, Jessi is no angel. she may have some shitty friends or shitty friends of friends. that may reflect on her character to a certain degree, but it's a separate issue from the attack itself
