How some non-kpop fans react to me knowing a bit of Korean

  • Them: Do you know any Korean?

    Me: a little bit

    Them: Say something in Korean

    Me: Annyeonghaseyo

Them: OH MY GOODNESS, YOU'RE SO FLUENT. :whatk:

    Okay, that was an exaggeration.

But I remember when I went to 10th grade and some of my female classmates used Google Translate to translate some sentences from English to Korean, and they wanted me to guess what the Korean sentence was saying and they were shaking when I guessed correctly.

  • I told someone I can read Korean and they were like: "So whats that looking like" I wrote him the entire sign-list and he was like: "That looks cool, but can you read Korean with it?" I was like: "I can" and he was like: "So if I google something and you read it, can you say what it means?" I was like: "No" and he was like: "But how can you read it than?" and I was like: "Well as recommended, you learn how to read Hangul, before learning the language, its easy, took me 2 days, but after that I was not feeling to learn more" and he was like: 😐
