I guess we all have the answer: Hybe played a big role in NJ's successful debut
But I'm more surprised we're not on page 3 yet

So they passed from
Super Shy: 23 weeks
With the supposed high Hybe support to that without:
How Sweet: 14 weeks
Supernatural: 14 weeks
Le Sserafim had a bigger drop between perfect night and their following releases so i suppose that Hybe have also stopped supporting Le Sserafim in japan?

Lesserafim charting on japan is based more on sakura and the song than on heavy payola like in newjeans case so there is no correlation.
300% secure that is just hybe, without mhj civil war the song performing like that in japan would be how sweet or supernatural
It seems I was being too positive about supernatural spending close to 20 weeks, it dropped from the hot 100 immediately after this thread, free falling from the #70 in just 1 week just a very crazy scenario.
Curiously, newjeans still have lot of songs charting on spotify japan, vestiges of the hybe payola they had before for sure, those songs are all free falling too and is just a matter of time newjeans disappear of spotify japan too.
Imagine being a digimon without debuting on japan for like 15 months and then charting like any average kpop group overnight, this is nightmarish.

Still wondering why you care? You've never articulated why this is of such concern to you.
You clearly dont like NewJeans, so why do you spend so much time and energy looking at how they are charting?
I know kpop fans love to joke about jobless behaviour but... you really do take the cake on it.
It's extremely weird.
JD Vance and couches weird.
Illit still there no? I wonder if their cmb will push it even more
Yes! is still in 34th position and 27 weeks in

Probably at the start it was the classic HYBE push, and then the two japanese members and the song being a hit helped it to stay on the list
Maybe there is a little of the things you mention in there, but for sure is 80% hybe doing, time will prove me right just like it did with newjeans.

Is not that deep my guy, I just take 5 seconds of my time to check any of this and spent some minutes here clowning with it, is really not that deep.
You clearly still waste time in your life researching, posting and arguing about groups you don't like.
And we hardly ever see you here talking positively about groups you do. In fact, it's not even clear anymore if you enjoy anything positive about kpop instead of just dwelling on how other groups have "failed" in some way.
It's deeply sad that this is all you have going for you. Chart wanking.
