I don’t like Supernatural or How Sweet because of

Hyein

Both of these songs ended up being the main promotions from each comeback and I don’t really connect to them well.

I don’t replay them on my own, unprompted. I don’t watch the videos. I definitely don’t sing along.

I just don’t connect to it.

It made me do some thinking… i have been in a very hyperpop mood since the drop of brat from Charli xcx and i was hoping that these comebacks would like be the invigorator and i couldn’t figure out why until i just watched the Supernatural Pt. 2 video.

I was sitting here in anticipating for Hyein to dance with the group, especially because we saw her dancing at Tokyo Dome. Then we see her come on screen, gorj of course, and then it’s over. Then shes back, still no choreo for her in this scene weirdly….. and that scene with choreo is missing hyein…….

Like it just isnt a NewJeans comeback without her idk like it feels so incomplete without her presence. Every time they dance in a scene i found myself counting 1…2….3….4…….. no more…….. Like she is needed for synergy its killing my vibe.

Its weird too because like… i like the songs in theory but every time i listen to them i feel like unhappy.

Does anyone else feel that way?

Does anyone know if after she rejoins the performances and i have something new to associate with the songs i’ll like them again?

As for Hyein i never notice her. All eyes on Minji she is the best performer.

I dont really think newjeans has a best performer. I used to think it was Haerin because she has the best dancing skills. Then i thought it was Hanni, because she’s most like a soloist between her vocals, dance, and presence. Then Hyein at some point because she has such a beautiful voice and always looks like a model. Then Sometimes its Danielle because arguably she sounds the most exact on key every time and has such an interesting presence in her beauty…. And obviously sometimes Minji because well…. Shes hot as heck and is so captivating as a performer but like i honestly think i need them all at once or only one at a time
