The first time I watched it I thought it wasn't that different from what I saw her do in YG so I was a little disappointed, but the more I watch the MV the more I realize how she without denying or changing her idol identity and the public persona that made her gaining fans everywhere she expanded her potential to levels YG couldn't.The MV is full of references to Thai culture, the stereotypes imposed on Thais, and also full of Lisa's energy, bright and confident. I love how she is not ashamed of who she is, she embraces everything that some people might call tacky or try hard, because at the end of the day, what some lazy people call "try hard" attitude was the mentality that made her beat 3.999 people in one audition, she's a rockstar. A thai girl who made herself into a kpop star and now is being bold enough to with her own label cross the line between kpop and pop...rockstar indeed
Lisa's solo was indeed a statement
