I'm glad I didn't put a lot of expectations on Lisa "Rockstar"

I had zero expectations. Because I ended up hating Lalisa and Money.
Rockstar is fab. I love it, it connected with me on first listen, I could play it all day and practically have. Why must a kpop song have meaning to be allowed to exist? No offense but that's so boring. And we see how much meaning KPop songs really have once they're in English. None. Most of the meaning is stan-made narrative. And Lisa fans are on the case there - "the meaning is that Asians are always confused for other races..." I bet $20 the Japan line was just a lazy rhyme. But who cares, it's fun and it makes me dance.

Don't know what people were expecting, it's a fun, summer bop and a good stepping stone for her future projects.
Just like how people dissed Money when it first released, watch this song go viral. It's already gaining momentum on Tik Tok
I'm happy to see Lisa releasing music and can't wait for that Rosalia collab to drop in August.
