because Armys are trying to be the kpop police, that's why other groups stans keep bringing back the dark past of BTS.

The same thing happens with SJ. Fans and haters just love to bring up past incidents that happened years ago that they apologised for. Let the past be the past and move on.

i think it's just like user haj1ma said, people are more annoyed by the hypocrisy of *some* armys trying to be the moral arbiters of the kpop community canceling every group and acting holier than thou when their faves are the same as every other "cancelled" kpop group
