Do you think BTS's success is because Bang Sihyuk was a good CEO and businessman, or did he just get lucky?

  • Seeing every group that he touches under Hybe, Bts honestly feels like a miracle to him at least for me. It's still mind-blowing how he became successful with Bts, a group with a really humble beginning and image that loves their music and creation, then he turned their whole success into a huge money hunger corporation with a fast food concept. Rather than establishing their legacy properly like SM, Bsh wants an easy and fast route.

His business strategies and this whole subsidiary system under Hybe seem so messy. Most of the higher-ups he hired are bunch of flop scumbag from gaming industry and knows nothing about how kpop business works. How many losses has he caused by investing in the wrong people and businesses just because Bts is still there to cover everything with just one tour?

But well, at least he's smart enough to secure the members' contract renewals two years earlier than expected.

  • BSH of course had luck with BTS but when the group started getting traction in the west, the company used the opportunities given to them to grow bigger. The group was doing great in terms of promotions.

But he became so caught up and greedy in trying to make HYBE not rely on BTS, only to end up relying for their return as a group next year.
