Kpop fans world has extreme duality which baffles me.

  • On one hand you see ultra serious and very professional discussion with regards to complex corporate environment and issues regarding kpop companies and their way of thinking and acting.

Some times you even see discussion on how the facade of front and back of idols world is drastically different and personality of individuals are either voluntarily or involuntarily morphed for a set situation.

On the other hand you have petty trolling, filthy remarks and childish ranting.

You see ego filled adult child picking fights and choosing sides so they just get some reaction. Ridiculous fake worrying while mocking and trolling someone's serious mental of physical condition, whom you don't have any sort of connection.

They don't know even one of the involved parties but they can go to extreme length and churn their brains to max so they can hurt them in any way possible.

My pov is very young compared to some of you, who might have decades of kpop experience, let me know if my views are different from yours and how.

  • don't judge an entire fandom (any fandom not just kpop) by the actions of a few...

kpop like any fandom has crazy people - delulus, antis, akgaes, stalkers etc etc

but there are also rational and sensible people in kpop but guess what you won't see or hear them on social media since negativity >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> positivity

even within a fandom itself you have a wide range of people but as I always say

the silent majority is often drowned out by the vocal minority

  • My take was people specific not fandoms as I don't think I came across one and neither I want to. Either way everything else in your quote is something that I agree with.

I meant fandom as any fans of any hobby

whether it be kpop as a whole or music fans, sports fans, computer game fans etc etc

there are always bad apples in every fandom
