Kiss of Life is NOT 5th generation. They debuted in July of 2023. 4th generation started with Idle in May of 2018. Does this mean that 4th generation only lasted five years???? This is poppycock.

also I remember that the K-POP column IDOLOGY, the one which released that specific graphic about kpop generations, said there that sometimes after years it's kind of 'shifting' like you thought it's this or that but then after impactful events someone is for example considered as 4 and half gen.
ps: ah and one thing which came to my mind just now, we need to remember that nowadays kpop labels debut groups more often, just look at HYBE and their gg's debut time and already plans for next gg's
