So next time anyone says Kpop fans are crazy for arguing about who did better in some chart nobody knows about online, they should think about football hooligans vandalizing, having huge street battles, stabbing each other with broken bottles, setting stuff on fire and occasionally even killing each other.
Also, Domestic violence goes up by a lot during important football matches and even more so when a favorite team loses.
The amount of money just having police during football matches costs countries is enormous.
Even the players get into it sometimes, beating each other up. Can you imagine the backlash whenever a Kpop idol would just *perhaps* give another idol a stink eye during an award show or not bow for a senior? I think it's good to place it in context when people go off about Kpop fans, because somehow they don't want to mention this 1000X worse behavior. And sure, occasionally, something happens in Kpop that is more serious, but football hooliganism happens about every week and in many different countries. And even if does not happen, it's because the country is paying for police presence every single week near multiple stadiums.
