Another thread that is inspired by the upcoming kpop group Big O!cean, who is going to "sing" in sign language. (and their debut is apparently on April 20th)
And they did make sign language covers of some kpop songs,
I decided to put the videos in spoilers, because I put many of them.
Some of the choreographies of Seventeen songs have sign language in it, including their song "Thanks", which has a part where they sign the Korean sign language word for "thank you".
Brave Girls also included the KSL word for "Thank you" in their choreography.
BTS's "Permission To Dance" includes some words in International Sign Language in their choreography too.
Not sure if cotoba is considered kpop, but they have a music video that includes sign language.
Lee Soo Young's "I Believe" music video also includes sign language in the music video. (and it is from 1999.)
In ATEEZ's Wooyoung's dance cover of Logic's song, he used sign language.
And it is not the first time that he uses sign language in his choreography.
In some live performances of "THANXX" he used sign language. One time, while saying his line "gracias", he did the sign for "thank you" and another time, when he was signing "I like you" in his ending fairy.
Speaking of ending fairies, in one live performance of ASTRO's "ONE", Rocky did sign language in his ending fairy, saying "I love you, thank you"
Well... some of the words, I know in Korean sign language is "thank you", "I love you" and "I like you". And I did learn those because of some of the examples above.
