Exactly what the title asks? I don’t know if it’s been discussed, probably has as it’s not exactly new thinking, but don’t think YG waited to release the news of Blackpink contract extension until after the debut of BM to hope that a successful debut would cover for it. Assuming of course some members of BP don’t resign or only resign for group activities.

Not that anyone could anyway unless they worked in a position at YG that made them privy to any of the workings.

I think the BP negotiations were running their own course independently...the delay for Baemon was more likely was due to YG jail stuff and Ahyeon issue
