I Can't Stop Me certified RIAA Gold, Twice is the most successful kpop group in the US with less promo

    The one market kpop stans specially 2019-2020 blinks swear twice will NEVER EVER achieve anything, and in the span of 3 years after signing with Republic Records (a very awful label which has barely do anything for them btw) they achieved record breaking stadium concerts, billboard 200 entries, billboard hot 100, billboard music awards nominations and riaa certifications, and more.


    All of that with barely promoting in the US market, no collaborations, no playlisting at all, no radio payola, no tiktok viral hits, just straight up organic fandom driven success, congrats to them.

    Twice literally used to be mocked for being local, they have no exposure until fancy it’s not a cute song but that’s definitely a bubble song and isn’t different from the old twice. They didn’t even change that much :annoyedk: What is love is like eligible for gold and went viral last year so yeah the cute twice still kind of helped them

    The Feels was there first song to get a certification in the US. That song was very fun, upbeat and has the TWICE sound.

    I think the only twice releases that are completely different than their characteristic cheerful and cute sound and concept are the recent moonlight sunrise and set me free, even when they started changing bit by bit since fancy almost all those concepts still have some of their colorful and fun concepts, and that's something i dislike a lot for example in talk that talk with bold sexy outfits and visuals just to do a half baked cute concept, they wasted at least 3 concepts in that comeback. And Twice is more successful in the US with their bright concepts tbh.
