OMG, you read my mind.
Especially seeing the Dream Academy clips and contestants (who are basically mostly influencers -very talented ones-) and comparing the Dream Academy roll out and promotions to A2Ks. I feel like JYPE may have lost the plot on this group and who the target audience is.
And honestly, this has nothing to do with Cristina being eliminated. Just seeing how they styled the girls for their final stages in LA, and the fact that they only have 2 actually really good vocalists (Camilla and KG). Gina is also really stable and Kaylee can get there with training (but she's so young). I'm not sure if the lack of strong vocalists is going to fly. Coupled with JYPE being a bit behind on fashion trends.
I think a strong line-up could be Lexus, Yuna, Gina, Camilla, Savanna, and maybe KG. But, I hope JYPE steps their game up in the areas of marketing and song curation. Like I said, I probably won't stan, but I still hope to send them love and show them some support in the end. I just JYPE gives me something worth supporting.

Yep Hybe very much understand the market they try to target so the girls they picked up have that western vibe to them and they look more mature than the A2K girls now I’m not saying that the a2k girls lack in visuals but they do have that girl next vibe to them that is mostly like in Korea and for the talent Jyp kept pushing Kendal when we know girl lacks a lot compared to other girls like she has stage presence but it can only get her so far and with the last episodes Yuna seemed more captivating than her and honestly to me very skilled dancers aren’t that much needed for an American group we know that in America vocals matter more than a a choreo so to me a good line up would’ve been Camila Melissa Kg Savanna (cuz girl has a lot of potential vocally ) and Yuna I love my girl lexus but we don’t need hard choreos for Us group girls like Kaylee and Lexus fit more a korean group than an American one same thing for Kendal
Tldr with past few years it seems that Jyp truly lost their touch when it comes to making girl groups
