The longevity LGO is starting to show on Spotify!

  • pasted-from-clipboard.png

LGO was released with almost no playlisting, it hasnt been focus of the fandom for most of its run and it has had very minimal promo, almost none without Dynamite.

And yet its catching up to and even surpassing BWL, which is the most successful kpop song on global streaming until Dynamite.

Many people like to underestimate it, but it is doing absolutely amazing!

  • Life Goes On... really got overshadowed and continues to get overshadowed by Dynamite. But honestly its doing pretty damn well especially on Spotify.... like that fact that its matching up to BWLs streaming pattern is insane considering the difference in playlisting and promotion.

LGO was never allowed to shine on its own. It was always promoted alongside Dynamite, so many people likely thought of it as a bside or non main track from the album with Dynamite as the main track (which i guess it was/is). Comparatively BWL was the main track from Persona and was promoted for probably more than half a year (the amount of times that song was performed live phew).

So the numbers its doing is pretty amazing.

I think its pretty telling its doing better on Spotify than Youtube. Like Spring Day. Its a song to listen to, not something flashy.

And it does have staying power, Im still listening to it and it hasnt got old at all.
