Do the Grammys matter ?

This video is pretty interesting. Gives a brief history of the Grammys and why it had issues from the very beginning, including their committee voting system and why it’s actually impossible to be objective. I think the conclusion he made at the end is pretty good. So if you have time and wanna watch this... here it is.

Yeah the guy in the video said that it doesn’t matter, but it matters to him simply because he wants an event where everyone can talk and discuss about music ( must not necessarily be the Grammys) and yeah for many singers they still want one, even if others boycott. So in conclusion, everyone hates the Show, but can’t let it go either lol

Well to artists even if it has a shady background it still is an achievement to an extent, but not winning it does not invalidate your success

As for fans it shouldn't be important imo as it won't add anything to the enjoyment of an artist's works
