Not western looking but what’s trending in aesthetic preferences in the west, which aren’t the traditional beauty type from some decades ago.
I'm not an expert but I'm pretty sure Jennie is often referenced as an EXACT definition of K Beauty standards.
Jennie is considered a visual but she’s not considered as representative of Korean beauty, at least not the traditional type. That would be people like Kim Taehee.
Jennie might appeal to both western and Koreans but she still fits Korean beauty standards. She has a small and proportionate face based on what K-media say about her when they analyze her face + she is seen as fashionable and alluring as for Lisa she might appeal to a broader audience but that's not a bad thing a lot of people find her gorgeous + she is pretty charismatic.

I think a lot of PEOPLE are SMOKING crack (respectfully) if they think JENNIE or LISA look like a DIFFERENT race...they do not look anything else but asian. BUT yes, they do have that WESTERN (HATE that WORD) appeal BECAUSE they DRESS like AMERICAN....AMERICAN....INFLUENCERS....and have LOTS of AMERICAN FRIENDS....but they ain't AMERICAN....THEY ain't UP on instagram JOBLESS....lots of STRANGE people on this FORUM...LOTS....
