Let’s be honest, all major awards are rigged. At the highest levels they are there to suit a certain agenda or narrative.
They were fine with the rise of Asian representation in the media but once Asian voices began to speak out more loudly in the social sphere it overstepped into their interests and pet causes.
This is why you never saw any of those liberal celebrity types support awareness of the anti-Asian crime epidemic. Even though they get behind a bunch of other causes. Asians don’t fit that into their worldview.
