[BTS CONTENT] This pattern of companies mediaplaying their GIRL groups as the "next BTS" will always be side-eying

    Are there no girl groups these companies can mediaplay as the "next" of? I can understand male groups and their companies saying that but that would still get them lashings either way but when I see female groups too.... like damn, is BTS the ONLY popular group??


    It already pisses me off that these companies can't hype their own groups as the "next" them but now adding a special twist essentially saying women can't either. And I hate that line of thinking more.

    whoever even wants to think themselves as the next BTS isn't because c'mon have they even accomplished half of what BTS has done? do they have half of the awards BTS has?


    but like we have seen, the ONLY ones who have "ended BTS" or are "the next BTS" ARE THE BTS MEMBERS THEMSELVES


    (no hate) but other groups can only dream of being "the next BTS" because let me tell you, those shoes are big to fill & every group shouldn't be put into the mold or have the lingering pressure of "aRe tHeY tHe nExT BTS?" because each group is their own and shouldn't be compared to one another; instead let them be their own group yk?

    HYBE is dumb. The next “ BTS” (probably not but might be the closest) is the UMG GG because they will get label support and radio payola. If anything, HYBE should be looking for the next IU or YJS in Korea.
