Does your culture also got a stereotype for waffles?

What I mean is sterotypicaly you expect waffles to be eaten like that:

• USA - Maple syrup with a block of butter on top
• Germany - powedered sugar or whiped cream with hot red berry-sauce
• Japan - Whiped cream with strawberry and chocolate sauce

Is there a stereotype for eating waffles where you are?
