So I thought about this process and it made me think how idols LOVE to get blonde hair and blue contact lenses. It’s considered novelty because the majority have darker eyes and hair. So in the past too these features were considered novelty and usually only “obtained” by the elites, so they would take women with those lighter features into their harem or take male slaves with blonde hair to serve in the castle. This is documented to have happened in the Ottoman empire, where the rulers were Asian and not European. Sometime later the POC civilizations were poorer and the European countries were richer. The elites transferred the wealth to people they perceived to have more superficial novelty due to their hair and eyes being different. Thousands of years of science, math, inventions, etc got transferred to white people from POCs.
And because there was no proper history, white people just imagined themselves as being superior from the start and it was used to rationalize their hatred of POCs. This is why they invented things like racial purity, “white man’s burden” and racial stereotypes because it plays into the belief that they are different besides just their lack of pigment.
