My first thought after seeing Momo singing in the screen corner was that Western shows just aren't used to blocking/filming with multiple relatively high speed targets like kpop is. Music shows in Korea know you have to snatch every two second line close up or face the wrath of stans lol.

Jihyo showed her power, even without the mic people could hear her, she's a class act for continuing and performing so well despite the technical difficulties.

I've watched these shows my whole life and don't they just cut to a pretty backup dancer's wink or shake every once in a while This is not me just bitching I swear I love many of these performances but it doesn't work for most kpoop.

Never really watched this kind of programme except Eurovision so I never really thought of these country differences, but that's a great insight

Lmao Eurovision is something I plan to dig into for real, it tickles all my campy pawp stan fancies yet isn't aired here. But I do have a Britney etc history since literal preschool so I have all these even late Madonna stages in my mind to compare Even with the highly choreographed Western gyals it's not the same

They only appear on Late shows to perform or were there other programmes ?

Eurovision is fun, well most songs are.. not good to stay polite and there some really boring years. But it's nice to see all the countries and artists interact with each other and there are some legendary performances, in fact you could check out the winners compilation videos, they check either one of the three boxes (funny/great performance/good song)
