Twice must not have been as big as once’s say if Korea dropped them so quickly

Bruh what. No Korea didn't drop them. SNSD was and is still very beloved.
SNSD got number 1 with party as 8, lion heart was in top 10 for weeks. Their TV appearances was still among the most watched of any groups and most members were still very popular. Only their 10th anniversary flopped.
Then during the 5 year hiatus they were still very popular. More members becoming actresses, TV stars, solos, touring etc. Despite not being active as a group they were all individually regularly in in demand and making the news. Tiffany who was previously driven out of industry and you’d think no longer have a career in Korea made a fantastic return appearing on a whole host of shows. All their meet ups also kept hyping up a hopeful CB.
Then this year we all saw how successful Forever 1 was, doing better than most 3G and 4G ggs (Twice, Itzy, Aespa, Mamamoo etc) depsite being 15 years old. During the summer wars they were only beaten by BP and 2 monster rookies. They rounded off the year with the actress line all winning awards. Not bad for a group that was dropped.
Twice for the last 3 or so years without scandal, breaking up or members too busy with their own activities can't even match SNSD's relevance and popularity when they were on hiatus and thought to be disbanded. A 15 year old SNSD returned and showed they are far out of Twice league in Korea.
