But when I watched it, I noticed a book with the title "Gulnede Blade" by Olfert Richard.

I was thinking "Gulnede Blade? That sounds Danish"

When I looked up Olfert Richard, it said that he is a Danish priest.

"Gulnede Blade" means "Yellowed leaves", but I'm not sure what the book is about. I can only imagine the contents being about christianity and autumn, which kind of fits the music video because it has crosses and autumn vibes.

  • hi! well after a quick research I found that Olfert Ricard, the author of the book was actually a follower of liberal theology and that makes a lot of sense cuz in the mv chaeyeon (beside being a vampire lol) seems to be very attached to religion, she's cover with fake tattoo crosses, she hold crosses and pray and one of the very first things she do when she goes outside is visit a catholic church, the point of liberal theology is to introduce religion to young people with a free perspective away from restrictive traditions and the closed and old ways to teach the word of god.
Even now in her first comeback she still showing this elements even in a more explicit way (there's this kinda asmr voice diary video and she's basically thanking god for some stuff)
I'm making a theory about the connection between liberal theology and her vampiric world so, lets see what else i can find
