Why Bts is the only group that makes noise in political work (UN speech, White House,…)?

  • Aespa did a speech at the UN but no one really cared. Blackpink also did some sustainable development campaign with the UN but no noise. Meanwhile Bts succeeded with multiple social/political events: The Love Yourself campaign, UN speeches, White House talks,… Why are they the only idol that can step into political work?

  • I remember everyone saying how aespa speech was a joke..and I gotta low-key agree.

Like their speech was mainly about this fake cyber world and kwangya and it just didn't sound suitable for the United Nations. Everyone was saying SM paid for them to get there, and I got to agree. Cuz even thinking about it......Aespa speaking at the U.N about what exactly........ A fake universe and how it needs to be intertwined with the real universe. I mean lol....

Blackpink pretty much same thing, just not as bad lol. Theirs most likely was something set up so the people can use blackpinks fanbase to get whatever environmental message they wanted to push. But kinda same thing, no one takes them seriously cuz of their image in general. Everyone know they don't care

BTS had years of social work since 2017, up till 2022 as you can see. I mean them being Presidential Envoys, having 3 speeches at the U.N, the face of Busan Expo, the love yourself campaign, again since 2017, the anti bullying thing, black lives matter donations, and the list goes on. I mean of course BTS gonna be taken more seriously, especially when the message been in their music even before 2017.

And lastly because they're more relevant and popular than Blackpink and Aespa, so everything they do will make noise, either as a group or individually..they just that powerful man lol.

  • It's not a good thing, sm should keep Aespa away from politics. Hybe has connections with politics, they're their investors that's why they keep on involving bts in this shit.

  • First of all, no aespa not even bp are even slightly as influential as bts so how can you even expect for them to make same noise as bts?..

Second, it's never good for artist to be used as weapon in politics so there is actually no reason to envy but hybe is very closely connected to SK gov so they use bts whatever way they want. And as for white house, current SK president is pro-USA so why not to lend bts-dolls for that event too when US' gov needed some positive noise about themselves from younger ppl (if to step aside from "first kpop act to give a speach in white house" fans' noise, it was so fun to watch how that girlie put them there like puppets on stage).

  • Maybe because they are the one of the most popular artiste in the world??

I believe politics is a powerful tool that can be used for both good and bad. It’s just like a knife. It could be a wonderful kitchen tool or could turn into a deadly murder weapon.

BTS pushing their love yourself campaign helped UN to raise $3M to help protect children against violence. This is a good use of politics

  • at least with un, bts/ bighit seemed to come up with some sort of project which armys can contribute, and they did show up in number. love yourself donation, sgd moment 2021, un gm backstage discussion, the number was so big that media couldn't help to pick up and in turn made gp tuned in their un activities.

i don't see the same thing happened when aespa/bp did their speech? was there any interactive project worked on and announced to fans?

Yep but it's more bad than good.

Imagine the president they meet do a military operation killing 1 million people like a famous president did 20 years ago. :eyes:

  • Because the fans push it so much. They're the only people who talk about it and since they have such a large fandom it makes sense that it would make more noise than other fandoms.

No one really cares about UN speeches and stuff because its all wind. No action. Make the UN or president or whoever look good but with no intention to actually do anything like most of politics.
