why is UMG going so hard for blackpink?

UMG has a lot of kpop acts signed to them that are nominated for the same category (twice, bts, txt), but the ONLY group they keep posting voting wise is blackpink and lisa? constant reminders to vote to ONLY blink (do they know something)?

they aren't even hiding their agenda. i think it's fair to say that these labels still have a wish to push bp in the west, do you agree?

So UMG posts about bp 2 times and it’s a crime? You’ve only linked two pics of their actual tweets, the other 2 are form the bp offical twitter which would obviously promote bono hope your smart enough to understand

I think it's interscope's work, they do way better job as a label. They gave BP collabs with it girls of pop (Selena, Cardi and Gaga) and promo is good too.

Maybe the best answer is that UMG is a Blink. That’s why they are so selective and only promotes voting for Blackpink.

I don't think UMG cares, it's probably whoever has access to the twitter handle. It doesn't matter anyways because BP are irrelevant in the western music industry. VMA proved that.

Blackpink is the only one not meeting their expectations so they need to give them push

If that was the reason then there is no bigger clout than armys. But they don’t tweet about voting for BTS. So it’s obviously something else

BP gave them the best results so it's fair and it's so funny seeing people say UMG is trying hard to push BP in the west when the same people said UMG were disappointed with BP in the past

They really want to make BP happen in the US and with BTS on hiatus this is the perfect opportunity. They might even perform there.

secondly, they are up against 2 groups with immense dedicated fandoms - one of them being no other than freaking ARMY... i know you're not telling me you expect blinks to outvote army?

I think the same, bts only had a distribution deal with their previous label, I forgot its name. Hybe always try to gatekeep bts there's no way they signed a contract with a western label.
