Mashiho/Yedam left Treasure. What do you think happen?

I mean the group is doing well, earning well. Mashiho and Yedam are the longest trainees in the group too. The reasons they gave don’t seem convincing. Why do you think they decide to leave the group?

idk about mashiro but everyone has been saying bang yedam is wasted in treasure and he should have debuted solo. now it's just becoming true.

Never trusted YGE's reasoning especially about Yedam. When Nam Taehyun left WINNER, YG said it's due to mental health issues, but in an interview some months after, Nam Taehyun said he didn't like the musical direction of the group and was suffocated by the idol life. Hope more info will eventually come to light in the future.

it's bs in my opinion. If they wanted to leave wouldn't they write something to the fans like idols leaving do? Also will YG just let them go while having spend so much on them? Specially Yedam, he was the face of the group. It's obvious it's all an excuse for a real reason. YG wanted them out but idk why.

Mashiho most likely sustained a serious injury. Acrobatics were his thing, and it's dangerous no matter how much you practice. He was already kinda hidden in Jikjin.

For Mashi, im thinking possible visa issues that mightve popped up idk.

For Yedam, i think the producer thing is bull..not complete bull, but still bull lol.

Like I feel he probably did want to join YG because of what he thought it'd be. YG got BlackPink, this big group, also BigBang, they had 2ne1 and even Ikon when they were at their peak.

So I think he assumed being a trainee, working into joining Treasure, he could end up being on the same level as his sunbaenims and be able to create music for the group freely as well etc.

But in the end, he got put into a 12 member group, which already makes it hard to shine individually, even with the clout he had before he debuted, still.

Its not like YG gave Yedam or any of the other members REAL solo activities and did a good job promoting the group. Its like YG want them to carry themselves, and if they end up with a hit, then so be it, but it seems no effort is put into Treasure.

So I'm glad Yedam left while he could. I think he opt out after he talked with his family and realized his potential could be bigger somewhere else or doing something else, definitely solo. Cuz out of all the members, he had the most potential to be solo and since he producing now, he could do that for other artists too. And he only 20, so the future is ahead. Any company would want him, or he might make his own.

Either way he better off than Mashi.

Mashi, now that he ain't in Treasure, I don't see him making any big noise or waves. Plus he in Japan now, so whatever he do over there will be pretty irrelevant in Korea, besides from the fans.

Something happened that is detrimental to keep them in the group

Treasure will continue to be irrelevant, even moreso without their semi popular member

It makes 0 sense that yedam would leave if he wanted to be a producer. YG has all theinfrastructure and connections for that. YG is not like the other companies, a lot of their idols, specially their male idols get to release their own music and after the Darari success I'm sure they would have invested in him. Something else has to be the reason.

The mashiho reason has been very vague, probably on purpose too.

Its just weird that the 2 longest trainees decide to leave after they achieved their debut AND their first viral song.

I sense Mashiho really has some mental health issues he has to deal with combined with severe homesickness. I noticed a couple of times that Mashiho has a compulsive personality where he has behaviors he cannot control. For example in episode 1 of Treasure Map Jihoon, Mashiho, and 1 or 2 other members are walking down a supermarket aisle when Jihoon haphazardly knocks over some containers of ramyun into their shopping cart. Mashiho's eyes go wild and he starts compulsively stacking the ramyun containers up neatly. Then in episode 10? of Treasure Map Mashiho is with his mother at an arcade in I think Shibuya and Mashiho compulsively tries to win plush toys from a claw machine.

Yes yg is like that, they didn't force taehyun either who was one of the pullers of winner.

Kinda sus

There are many idols who have serious injuries that require substantial surgery, so he may have opted out of the idol life to get the treatment he needs, understanding he’s going to have a long term issue. All companies tend to be cagey and evasive about serious injuries, esp back surgery related ones.

A number of idols decide somewhere along the way that idol life is not for them. For someone who wants to write and produce their own music and has fans that talk him up, it’s not surprising he wants to bail and make his way as a soloist.

They are doing just fine they sold out 2 concert dates. Their latest comeback is also doing well, So I guess they will continue like that? just time will tell I guess.
