It's not fair to compare bts' melon achievements with some other well known soloists.

    If people cared for the BTS members to the extent fans have pushed for years they wouldn't need promo like others. But I can imagine it's a hard pill for BTS fans to swallow that their hasn't been any anticipation for their solos so far domestically and they are just like any other soloist there.


    Did Jin also not go on Youngji's show, probably the most popular youtube variety in South Korea at the moment?


    BTS have done well with pop songs, rap songs and essentially ballads or slower songs. So what do the public expect from them?

    This is such a moronic take. Kboos love to conflate SK with the world. They can't admit that their fave soloist are the bottom of the barrel on a world stage because BTS solos still outperform all korean solosist on world charts. So yes, BTS members are world stars and it's even more apparent when compared to other korean soloists.


    Also, YT shows as promotion for BTS members only help the show not the member. BTS is huge on YT and any YT show that has them benefits far more from the BTS clout than vice versa. The only promotion that is legitimate promotion was Jin on Running Man and that was interrupted and now will have minimal impact due to the hype dying down and the period of mourning.

    BTS has 7 members. As much as armys want all of them to be successful, only 1-2 members will have a breakthrough.

    They outperform their fellow countrymen because their intl fans care and are more eager to help them chart. Heck their fans will skip sleep & school/work for bts to land on the charts (idk any other fans who are as chart obsessed armys)

If they truly are "world superstars" then they sure would be smashing the charts and actually wouldn't need to collab with actual worldwide superstars all the time to make some waves.     Whenever you discuss domestic charts with BTS fans, they shift it immediately to global charts and flex on how their faves are the greatest superstars of the planet. Lol we get it that's the only way you can save face to why the solos are not successful in their own country

    So I guess you agree that all 4th gen and most of 3rg gen is total flops in Korea.


    Even SM soloists that has ton of promo in Korea (and not only during cb) are flopping on korean charts.

    Now the promotion excuse can no longer be used as Jin appeared on both RM and Park myungsoo show. So work on your next excuse.

    The only mad person is you. All because you feel “ talked down to”. Grow up and learn to cope with life. Just because your faves are flops doesn’t mean that you get to feel offended because someone praised BTS and hyped them up. Kpop fans do this all the time for all sorts of idols and yet you feel offended only if it’s about BTS.
