why is red velvet a favourite of multis and casual listeners?

is it true red velvet is always a favourite of kpop multis and casual listeners but they don't really translate to a hardcore fandom? if you think so why is that?

Talent, great songs, likeable members.

Their fandom is older and more mature and in it more for the music and vocals. There are less hardcore kpoppies that live and breathe drama.

To be honest, they're quite boring but the music is really good.

I don't Stan them but my streams for them are higher than both my favorite groups combined

They are not a threat.

atleast have some receipts regarding this claim

1) SM stans gas them up and they still dominate online kpop spaces

2) they're not a number 1 group so they're not a threat. BP fans and Twice fans were in direct competition for a while, RV was always behind them. So it's easier to say you like RV too but not your fave's rival.

after Irene's issue, most casuals have left them and flock to Aespa.

Luvies rubbed me the wrong way. They sound like the "not like other girls" using being queer as an aesthetic.

COS RV discography is ups and downs. Some songs are good and other are SM playing evil work

They have good songs I like their tts the most
