Not putting them on hiatus doesn't mean they were gonna get renewed lmao. Laboum, DIA and CLC got comebacks until the end and performed about the same as April, all of them got disbanded. WeMe is still getting comebacks and they likely won't get renewed either.

Kard was never that successful in Korea either but at least they had international success and could do tours. April barely did concerts, one of the main things that makes groups profitable

april were always bigger than dia and laboum, they were never as nugu as them, only clc had better spotify streams than them, but beisdes that there wasn't that much difference. April could've been bigger than weki meki cause they were on an upward progress not a downward spiral with each comeback, and naeun def rivals doyeons popularity.

Kard declined a ton after their initial hype, they couldn't have made dsp that much money during the pandemic anyway if they were relying on that for their entire income. Which april also couldn't have explored much with the pandemic.

You're really fighting for April to be Queen Of The Nugus and not really getting it. All those groups performed about the same and some of them had members bigger than Naeun as well.

Really, outside a song that charted in the 50s for maybe 2 weeks, what did April having going for them that makes you think they would have ended up any different?
