What is something in your native language that sounds kinda wrong when trying to explain it in English

  • What do you think sounds wrong from your native language when you try to explain it to someone in English

For me I think it is "Wie geleckt" basicly it describes that someone/something is lookinf flawless "Sie schaut aus wie geleckt" (She looks flawless) "Es sieht wie geleckt aus" (It looks flawless) but the "geleckt" part comes from "lecken" wich means "Licking (something)" and that I guess is kinda wrong in some way if you try to explain it to a person who dosn't speaks the language or dosn't speaks it perfectly and you try to say that someone is looking perfect and flawless, and I think it sounds kinda wrong about hot men when they look their very best in a photo since in some way it makes you kinda sound like if you had licked that person till they started to look clean and thats ... weird I guess lol :annoyedk:
