So it was rejected? I'm relieved if that's the case. Hybe wants to bind the members with the company by copyrighting every single thing associated with them. Them not copyrighting it under V name was actually so evil.

Samsung had a whole series based on this, their collab with buskin Robbins was also based on it and God knows how many other gigs since I cannot name them all. I'm relieved it was rejected because that would mean hybe owned it and they'd have sued taehyung if he wanted to use it in future.

All companies are shady, but Hybe really takes the cake recently.

Why is hy-give us your money-be doing this? Because they want to make money - and best of all, money that doesn't involve needing the actual group - from as many aspects of BTS as possible.

it's clear as day why they are doing this.

they want to squeeze every single penny out of bts, so stealing a trademark & the consequential royalties from one of the artist that build them from nothing is a small action.

Not that I care much but honestly even since I've heard that whole "borahae having copyright" thing it sounds like a complete bs. I don't even know how fans can be aware about whole internal drama with "company filed application but it was denied cause ipo knows it was created by v" lol Does v owns copyright on some phrase now or what? Tbh it sounds like a wishful thinking by v solos trying to prove his impact.

Do u even Stan bts? They did campaigns with big ass brands using this phrase and are still doing so. It literally became their identity. Its so annoying that whenever taehyung is involved in some case like this yall try to label those who are concern as "solos" and try to shade him.

Hybe applied for the trademark years ago when it became too famous and companies tried using it for their own products a cosmetics company applied for the trademark so hybe made a move and applied for the trademark and it was rejected because V was the creator and hybe tried to take the credit. Heres the source and they released a video as well explaining why they rejected it. You can search for the cosmetics brand as well who tried to trademark it. Your fav group is doing big ass ads realising merches and other products using this phrase and here you're denying it's impact.

It’s should be Taehyung’s copyright (can be under Hybe or not) because if he doesn’t, other people/company can do it. Imagine the term borahae can’t be used by ARMY, BTS or even Hybe because other company get to copyright it first. That’s even more horrible.

The boys should get their own lawyers to copyright a lot of stuff. Borahae, JK's drawing of Bang PD (that he requested money for because HYBE was using it), BT21 (hopefully already worked out with Line Friends), and all their mixtape music.

i feel like hybe is doing this to protect it from being taken advantage of by other parties for commercial purpose... taehyung probably doesn't care about commercial aspect of it so hybe is doing it themselves.

this situation has shown me how dumb solo stans can be. learn your places.

he will care if he wants to leave Hybe and can't use it anymore, he could getting sued if he use it

There was a cosmetic company that tried to use this phrase and scam Army. There was a big fuss during that time that how dare Hybe do nothing to protect it. So they did apply for copyright.

Now solos again are angry with Hybe that they are trying to protect it lol....

If Tae wanted to have it under his name, he would do it (he is rich, has lawyers). He is an artist under Hybe. so it's not weird that his company filled for it.

Also if it was under just Tae other BTS memebrs coudn't be able to use it. And although Tae was the one that created it, this phrase it's for all 7 members and ARMY. And it's used a lot by all.
