NJ's have had more unique listeners to their songs then SKZ sell albums.

Honestly, selling albums is nothing special. Yes, even 2M of them. It's just multiple versions and gacha mechanics gone wild, and the poor fans buy 3, 10, 20, 50 copies of albums. It's artificial inflation.

SKZ because people have been labeling them flops for years and don't make music that caters to the mainstream and didn't change their style to be more appealing to it.

NJ is a group people have been anticipating for several years from the biggest company in kpop who recently launched 3 very successful new groups. If NJ had come from Starship, like Ive, or RBW or Cube, that would have been more surprising.

njns literally just debuted, and not only they managed to chart 3 songs in chart but melon top 10 at the same time when does that happen?? while sks has been active for a long time and nowadays bgs keep increasing their sales massively and breaking their previous sales, the gap is not that big between the top bgs other than bts

so yes, of course njns achievement is the impressive one... besides sks is not even 4th gen lol

Both are pretty standard bg and gg achievements. There are 2-3 boy groups with 2M+ sales and there are 2-3 ggs with similar digital debut achievements.

Nothing too far out of the bucket for either one of them. Ofcourse for each of the groups the achievements will be impressive in their own rights but overall it's standard.

I would wait until txt n enhypen next cb to see whether skz sales really as impressive as it sounds since these 3 groups always goes neck to neck in album sales. If txt n enhypen sales as big as them then it's clearly just because the explosion of album sales.

Same case with NJ, they have successful debut but it remains to be seen wether they're gonna have similar success in their next cb.
