idk about this particular case but at some point backtracks got so loud that even if someone does try to sing live, it wont be heard over the back track

there was no backtrack, they were lip-syncing the entire time but it didn't prevent the audience from having a good time. they either couldn't tell or weren't bothered by it. it's clear in the video that the audience had fun which is the only thing that matters
