Whats the difference between a bestfriend and a good friend?

i have lots of good friends, they’re people you sit with at lunch and occasional hang out with. If they fell down, you would immediately help them up. You can feel uncomfortable if there is an awkward silence or when a conversation comes to a screeching halt.

best friends are few in number, i have 3. You love them and you know they love you back, you can talk about literally anything with them and they’ll be absolute icons about it. If they fell down, you would laugh your arse off, take a picture and then help them up. It’s likely you laugh about dumb shiitake and there are little to no awkward silence (it’s comfortable).

Best friends are life time friends, good friends are temporary ones

Good friend is when you treated someone as your best friend and that person declared that you are just a good friend.

So, that person's status has now changed to a good friend in your heart.

Yea, happened to me with a friend that I have known for 7 years at that time. Lol..

But as I grow up, I realize that it is okay to have lotsa good friends and not have any best friends.

It can also be that you have a few best friends and not much good friends. It doesn't really matter.

All sorts of people will pass through your life. You will meet different people from your school, college and workplace.

It's not wrong if anyone choose to walk away. It is just that your paths are different. At the end of the day, you still have your family.

I don't think it same for me. From my perspective, my best friend is the one that I can easily talk to, spend time together, sharing good and bad news, and really close to me. A good friend can be just someone that doesn't really close to me but have a good attitude and character.

for me, i can be a dick to my best friend but not my good friends.

For me, best friends are people i don't hide anything from, i have one person like that. Good friends are people i talk too almost everyday, but i still hide stuff
