Doesn't seems to me that there is anything sus about it.
The only sus for me is that they didn't even enter global top 200 on the first day with all the hype they were getting globally and they didn't even get over 200k on the first 24 hours. I thought they can get more than that with how much south korea hyping the group.

2. They were trending in SK 2 weeks before the song came out on Korean platforms
3. Their songs are global. They were pulling 1.1m daily streams for each song on Spotify Global even before Attention was on on TTH and Hype Boy is still out streaming.
Also Apple music is huge in Japan, that's the main reason IVE songs chart high on AM global.
For example the Japanese artist ADO's 3 month old song is still top 10 AM global but the song is not even charting in spotify global.
Basically that's not the best metric to use for global charting.
Newjeans songs are semi-viral in SEA regions that's where most of their streams are from on Spotify besides SK.

They just came out the right time with music it's not something to stress yourself over lol their success makes complete sense.
I mean they already have some playlisting after 2 weeks and their playlist reach is like 30M+ before Attention getting into TTH which is still higher than most of the group.
and you can see that their unique listener is going up. I still remember them going 100-200k uls per day at the start , but then they go for 300-400k uls per day which shocked me tbh.

their playlist reach was actually lower than ive before tth and it's still not that high
tth is boosting their mls but their songs getting viral in SEA is helping them added to playlists
ive group playlist reach peak was 60m and newjeans was 74m
Where do you guys see the group's playlisting reach? Is there any specific place for that or is it just guessing
