that's literally with every kpop song??

dynamite is just the exception to this because it was a cultural event that - unless another kpop group gets a song with psy GS level of virality - won't ever be replicated. again, except for Psy, this is the only kpop song that locals actually know (and not the kpop stan definition of "many locals know this song!").

Besides Dynamite being a global phenomen, butters momentum was also fucked over by hybe.

Yes, it's a hit. At least in Korea. It's definitely bigger than Love Dive. But I agree, I don't get the appeal of the song at all. If anything it just feels like Korea is obsessed with IVE themselves because After Like sounds like a StayC song and would definitely flop is StayC came out with it.
